Carbone, Ida: 1971
Like many other women, Ida Carbone met her death at the hands of her husband. Antonio Carbone, 72, shot her in the living room of their Altoona home on June 3, 1971, and then turned the gun on himself. Police found two guns, one of which was a revolvler on the kitchen table. It had one shot fired, but had failed to discharge eight other bullets. The murder weapon, an automatic pistol, was found under Antonion Carbone’s body. Ida Carbone was 62 at the time of her death.
