Chomry, Marcus: 2008

Marcus Chomry was murdered outside of a cabin at Blue Knob, near Claysburg in Greenfield Township, in July of 2008. He was shot and killed with his own gun. Shawn Dugan was quickly arrested; his girlfriend, Donna Hawk of Johnstown, was arrested on July 14, 2008. She was taken into custody in the psychiatric center of a Pittsburgh hospital, and charged with theft, receiving stolen property, and hindering apprehension. It was believed that she was at the cabin at the time of the murder, and was with Dugan when he drove to Pittsburgh in Mr. Chomry’s car. Hawk is alleged to have sold the murder weapon to a dealer in the Johnstown area. It was traced after the sale.
