Gates, Frank: 1930

Frank Gates was shot and killed by Harry E. Lingenfelter on October 10, 1930.  Frank was 74 years old, and had retired from his position of  company motorman from the Altoona and Logan Valley Railroad.  He was a resident of Leamersville.  Lingenfelter was declared insane and committed to Fairview.
