Wilson, Dugald: 1956
Dugald Wilson, 67, was murdered by his son, Robert Wilson, 45, on December 30, 1956. Dugald’s wife had been arguing with him at their Hollidaysburg home about wearing his good clothes, and he bumped her, causing her to fall to the floor. She called to Robert, who had been sleeping upstairs. He came downstairs with a .22 caliber pistol and shot his father three times. The elderly electrician died instantly.
Police Chief John Hansel planned to file murder charges, and Wilson was held a Blair County Prison. Wilson was arraigned in front of JP Robert C. Holland
